Hello everybody,
here we are, Bakri and David sitting in the Beduintent waiting for everybody, all of you, to join and hear your stories.
So I guess it is our turn to start the gossip: What about the headquarters? Bakri is busy building a new floor – so that while "renting" his apartment he doesn't have to sleep in a tent outside . The garden is getting populated – a whole zoo emerging with 2 cats (Samira and Faz) not counting their kitten, 15 ducks making a hell of a noise in the morning with the rooster and 8 chicken. Maybe he will have a duck-chicken soon – because we have no male duck but a pregnant female???? She is breeding the egg and since Bakri wants her to experience some sort of success for sure he sneaked another chicken egg in, too. Don't forget the rabbits, although Faz already had a bite on two, makes it 7. We are still missing the donkey for the "rent a donkey" business!
But first the rest of the garden and spring has to be purchased, so anybody interested in sharing the land with Bakri? He will build some nice beduintent on it and in the spring you can swim in your own spring!
Now Bakri is working in Aloushs new beautiful restaurant opposite of Kanooz. And this is also the place I spend my day sitting in the shade either on cushions or at the table – if I can't do my work in the hammock that is. "Day" of course starts at 13:00h for Bakri and lasts until at least 24:00h before he gets home to listen to his new music. Which makes me always a bit incapable in typing at this late hour, because the day for me starts at 08:00h. But thanks to Bakris great kitchen skills and a fresh juice here and then I keep up with the day, and if not – a "shai ahmar libyi" will get me back to my feet.
Ali is dropping in and out since he is working just opposite in Kanooz. Quoting him: "Hello to everyone and if you don't miss Siwa, Siwa misses you!"
Aloush is just out with his big "new" car and its French female owner and partner in the restaurant. He has been in France and got to tell you a lot of stories about swimming in the ice cold ocean everyday (Atlantic) and climbing up the Eifel Tower, Bretagne and its forests and and and …
Now we have to see a movie of Ali and so drop by soon for some photos ….
