But I am wondering where the others have got to? Like Ruth? Has anyone heard from her lately? I would love to read her book if it is published now. What about Eamonn? Is he connected to this site?
Cleo assures me that she will write soon, she has had a VERY busy time at work this month (Yes, we do know how to work). We are meeting next weekend for a few days catch-up because we don't see enough of each other these days (now that we live 5 hours apart).
So Bakri, I'm glad you got my text mesage on your mobile. Now you must write back! Did you save my number on your phone? Oh... clever technology. I'm looking forward to calling you sometime soon when I can afford it.
The great thing with texting in English is that you can spell words how they sound & I can still understand. I'm not sure whether to include the (0) in the number so I sent it to both. Now I'm not sure which one worked!

Of course everyone who's been to Siwa will miss the PLACE, but Cleo & Pat miss the PEOPLE, our extra special friends forever.
So Aloush has been to France!! Wow, that must have been such an amazing experience for him. I hope he wore a gallibeya with pride like all desert men should. That's so fantastic, I wish I could sit down with him & hear his stories for hours. Did he eat frogs legs & snails?
Cleo & I have often said that if we won the lottery we would fly our favourite Siwans here to New Zealand for a holiday.
So how is Dash Dash? Is he still driving Mohammed Faiz's Landrover? Please say a big hello to him.
And Eisa? What is he doing these days? Please say hi to him too, he was a good friend to us. And the other 'Alexander' staff? Mahmoud? Abdullah?
Is Quashi still fixing bikes?

I heard that Ahmed is living at Bir Wahid, raising cows?! Is this true?! Maybe they meant dogs (ha ha)
And Mohammed's computers? I bet things have progressed alot for him! What is the address of his Siwa website? I really want to check it out but I've forgotten.
Bakri, how is Hany? Is he still working in Siwa? Please say hello to him if he is. I hope he's working for you coz he's great. Did Fahmy ever get married?
